I’m sure there are a lot of players out there that have a large stack of transmutation stones collecting dust in their banks; I’m one of them. However, I never seem to have enough Fine Transmutation Stones. I would like to suggest that we be able to combine Basic Transmutation Stones, along with something like a Mystic Forge Stone, in the Mystic Forge to create Fine Transmutation Stones.

My thoughts exactly. I see no use for the basic stones as there is no reason to care what non-max armour looks like since you only wear it on new characters that arent level 80 yet. Even more so if you can get Heritage armour from HoM which doesnt need a stone to transmute the looks. Even the fine stones have little use but if someone bought tier 3 cultural armour it would be a shame not to wear it due to the fact its not exotic since you have to pay a lot for it.
So yes there should be a way to turn like 10 basic stones into 1 fine stone – I think that would be a fair deal.

I’d go more for 5 to 1, remember it takes 6 stones to ‘mute a full set, that’d still be 30 Basic stones. Also, I’d prefer it not to include other gem store items in the recipe, at that point I might as well buy the stupid Fine stones.

But yes, a way to convert excess (there is actual use for them btw, just not a lot), Basic stones into Fine ones would be really nice.

Bur since such a recipe is likely to cut into sales of Fine stones it’s not likely to happen, but hey, we can dream.

That would really be a great improvement
