Mystic “unsoulbind kit”??
Why is there no such thing? I would happily pay gems to acquire such a thing. Even if it only had one or so uses, wouldn’t this be a better alternative to using transmutation stones on Legendarys? even if the kit just made the item “account bound until equip” or something…

This is just my opinion. I know if it were too under-priced it would just be abused… but I would seriously consider paying 1000+ gems to move one of my items to another account.

(INB4 “blah blah shouldn’t have equipped on that character if you weren’t sure”)

No. I’d pay 1000+ gems to keep my legendary as a legendary.

A transmuted Legendary is still a Legendary.

I transmuted my Howler before I even equipped it – and I still completed the achievement for it.

That aside, if you are able to get a Legendary you should know how horrible PVT is, so why would you even consider keeping it as such?

In the upcoming patches legendary items are able to swap out stats whenever you’re out of combat. I don’t want to miss out on that because I transmuted it.

Well anyways, Along similar lines… What about say like… 600 gems for a kit that would let you unequip some armor you have equipped?(ie cultrual t3) Wouldn’t that be better than transmuting? idk I’m just looking for opinions

You’re guessing there. My guess is transmuted won’t miss out – it would be too much kitten for AN to deal with. This should only be really considered if you are indeed correct – but we don’t know for sure yet. 2 Stones instead of this item would change nothing on exotics, as they have been promised no such upgrades.

Your issue lies with the Transmuted word overriding the Legendary. A much simpler change would be to just remove that, and either just not say it’s transmuted, or have it as an additional line in addition to that.

Yeah, I don’t want to lose the legendary status xD I doubt Arena Net would forget about transmuted ones. Meh who knows, what about using it for trinkets? just throwing ideas out there.

I overlooked trinkets, your point is now valid but it certainly would have to be account bound.

It would be nice to be able to move my Ascended trinkets from my Mesmer to my Thief.

Yeah, It would be nice to get rid of all of my spare trinkets sitting in my bank all soulbound to one character :L
