Not sure if anyone else really cares but I figured what the heck I’ll throw a suggestion out here….

Loot particle effects are really hard to see from a distance, and sometimes even up close when bodies of the NPC start to pile up. It would be nice if they made these particle effects more obvious , so it’s easier to see these from a distance.

I hate referencing other games but I’m gonna do it anyways… I would be happy to see something similar to what they did in SWTOR, which kind of gives you an indication of the levels of loot on the npc before you even loot it. Plus it’s easy to see in the chaos of battle where you need to loot.

Or, just go back to GW1’s method of hit a key and they light up.

Furthermore, I have come very close to missing treasure many times because ambient background effects canceled out the loot bubbles. That’s just absurd, because it means I HAVE lost loot but just never knew about it.

Let’s go one further: Why the heck do we have to pick it up at all? It should be automatically added to your pack (until full).

I’d love to be able to see them more clearly. Sometimes I have to wave my mouse around — if a hand icon appears, there’s loot. Also if the body is still there, someone hasn’t looted it, and it might be me. I don’t think I’ve missed too many loots over the months but how would I know, if I didn’t see them?

Yes more obvious there is loot to be gotten effect is needed when there are more than a few corpses. Also the corpses with loot time out too quickly. Often times I’m in a DE or longer fight that is long enough that quite a few of the first lootable corpses have timed out and disappeared before the first opportunity to loot arrives.
