Guild Wars 2

I think it’d be really cool to have NPCs who travel across the world, meaning across multiple zones. Like an NPC who travels between Divinity’s Reach and Hoelbrak for business (I understand it may not make sense given Asura gates). Each such NPC can have a story attached to it which will basically involve us players needing to assist this journey somehow, which gives us players incentive to travel the world more after exploring it once.

Yea. This would be awesome. A lot of work though. I remember them doing something like this a while ago. They said they were adding heroes that were npcs that traveled across the world and fought in areas across the map. and it was supposed to be that as you leveled up you could see these people level up too… I should really find the link to that update because i have no idea what happened since then.
