Guild Wars 2

I know this might sound silly but as far as I can tell there is no option to have your own character name over your head. Now I know most people probably don’t want it, and i know its kinda obvious who it is…when your actually playing it, but I like to have my name and guild tag above my head…

An option to turn this on would be nice for me

This was something I suggested before too. While I personally do not like to see my own name, it is useful to “make sure” your guild tag is showing, if you are not a pet class.

I am not too surprised that people are asking for this, I had at least 3 guild members ask me how to turn their names on.

wouldn’t mind a key that turns this on whilst it’s pressed, just to make sure I know my own name… and to see my character as others do.

Well I don’t see the problem with adding an option for it, I know it sounds silly but I do like having my name above my own head…

yes, PLEASE make this happen…helps if you are multi-guilded and forget to switch if you are helping a certain guild.

+1 for this. It’s a small thing but I like seeing my name above my toon’s head.

YES! +1 to this. This bugs me. I really miss my name. Particularly if I make a new character, I have to hit the Hero panel all the time to remember the name lol.

Absolutely agree. Yes it’s a minor thing but it annoys me I can’t see my own name!

I had someone ask my what my title meant, I had to ask what title, I had forgotten it was there. What is the point in having titles if you can’t see them? For that reason and the others listed in this thread, I’d also love this feature.

I know it’s a really minor thing, but I also would like to be able to see how other folks see my character’s nameplate in PVE, even if it just pops up when I press CTRL.
