At one point in time the actual ability did exist and then we’ve got character redesign kits that don’t have the option to change names, yet we have the option to change sexes. Please, for the love of all that is holy, please put name changes into the gem store or adjust the redesign kits to include a name change. This is beyond ridiculous at this point and should be no small feat to have it done. I have had my name changed before by an admin and all it took was a small adjustment on the back end.

So PLEASE add them. Thank you.

agreed. used one on an alt just assuming that OFCOUSE when you can change gender you get to change name… but nope -.-

This is a valuable item to pay special note to ANet. You have a ton of role players who would pay out the butt for this ability. Please fix this asap, thank you.

I can only assume that a lot of people posting support in one thread will hopefully increase the chance that ArenaNet will actually consider such a fundamental feature of any multiplayer game.

Please oh Please put this in soon! I, personally, will be buying more toon redesign kits and name changes as soon as name changes are implemented. I can’t have my dudes running around with chick names and vice versa. And deleting level 80’s just to rename them is not an option.
