Are these armors ever gonna have a unique skin?

I was rather disappointed after a friend bought Rurik’s chestplate… and well, it wasn’t Rurik’s chestplate, if you catch my drift.

It would be a really cool trowback to GW1, but instead all the plate armor from Devona and Rurik for example, is the Pitfighter skin.

Is it just that you’ve not made the model/textures yet? Please say yes. Having seen that there is some pretty epic looking randomly uniquely named Exotics out there, I was kinda hoping that these would own up to the awesomeness of some those weapons.

Sadly, I was left disappointed…

I bought a named staff called “Delusion” and it turned out to be the skin of Shadow Staff from GW1, only more colorful. Dying weapons, please iterate!

There’s different prefixes to every armor, they decide what stats (and stat distribution) it has. For the highest-level armor the names are throwbacks to GW1 characters. For example, Galrath’s armor has power, precision and condition damage (iirc, can’t login right now).

I just think they should have unique skins aswell, it’s very disappointing, considering the names of them.

Also, named exotic weapons have unique skins, why shouldn’t the named unique armors have some unique skins?

Yes was hoping these were going to be unique but alas doe not seem to be. Would give Anet a hand to themselves if they did as more unique armor = more storage = dam i need to buy more spaces = more gems to buy \0/
