Necro Minion Master more Viable for Dungeons
I agree that minionmancers are not very good in dungeons, due to the high damage aoe that is present. I get all the reasons people have said in past posts about why we can’t control them, the jist of it being they are little meat shields/puppets with no “brain” of their own. Which I do tend to agree with so I am ok with not having the ability to control them fully.
I do however wish that the minions/their AI is at least smart enough to move out of the aoe circles on the ground, nothing sucks more then running around the aoe circles just to have your minions plow through them dying.
I also like your healing suggestion about a traited skill. Another idea for a traited skill could be to have them auto heal out of combat when our character does.

I know minions are supposed to be brainless, but these are a bit too brainless. They need a way to tell them to quit standing around me and attack what I’m attacking, and a command to stop attacking. At least my ranger can tell my pet to stop attacking some random yellow object it gets fixated on (like the skelk nests in Southsun, my Fern Hound hates those things for some reason).
