Necro: change Well of Blood -> Combo Field
Can you explain me what water field would allow you to gain or make your team gain compare to the actual one because I don’t know necro and I would like to understand what you mean exactly.
With a blast finisher, in a light field you get retaliation to your party.
With the same blast finisher you can give regenaration to your party, if you activate this finisher in a water field.
A water field seems therefore more logical, for this healing utility.
And it also helps the team a lot more, because if gives the option for a regeneration boon.
Well of Blood now seems nice and heals the necro, and after that it heals in ticks for persons standing in it.
However this just seems to “static”. And by a little tuning of the field of this utility, then this skill would be so much more usefull then it is now.
I think you are mistaken to ask for a change to Water on WoB.
Necro already has access to extremely high AoE Regen up time with Mark of Blood. The water field would provide very little that you don’t already have. The light field providing retaliation on an AoE when blast finished is actually really a nice way to go, not to mention that allies can cleanse conditions with projectile finishers. For Necro Light>Water.
Really, retaliation is far better than regeneration, I would stick with the light combo…
Retaliation is grossly inferior to regeneration but Myrm is correct in that we already have multiple ways to keep Regeneration up all the time. Necromancers are not dead weight despite what people claim but they are non-optimal – there is no dungeon run that benefits from having one in lieu of another class.
Anyhow, that’s all besides the point. A Water Field doesn’t provide regeneration on blast, it creates an AoE burst heal. However, (continuing with the theme of Necromancers having the least positive traits of anybody) there is no unconditional way of setting it off. Even putrid mark requires something to trigger it.
