Seriously, the drop rate of Black Lion Keys are close to precursor level!

Players have already accumulated 500 Black Lion Chests, but probably only 2 or 3 keys have dropped from mobs or players in that time!

The chests are more like junk drops to many of us as the only way to open them all would be to spend a tonne of gold on keys from the gem store.

You claimed there would be no grinding required in this game, yet players have to grind for so much gold just to get one item from the TP! Please increase key drop rates.

you could spend money on gems to buy the keys, theyre meant to be a premium item and arenanet need money to maintain and develop the game, be glad there’re no subscription fees

ANet is a business. It exists to make money through making and maintaining a video game. One of these ways is to sell items in their cash shop, which includes keys, which are probably one of their big money makers. Now, they allow people to get keys for free by using ingame money or doing key runs. And they have the very rare key drop or keys from area completion. That’s as far as their generosity needs to go and it’s much further than it needs to be. They didn’t have to allow any way to get free keys. So, if you want free keys, use gold or do key runs but don’t expect the game to drop them in your lap.
