I see more and more topics in Nekromancer forum abaut issues baut the class and balance, BUT i am actually not here to continue “moaning”.
If someone did read my post on the Nekro forum abaut my problems and feedback abaut the class clearly knows that i am a big fan of “Classical” or more Wizard like Nekromancer, and for that sole reson i didnt found my “most beloved” class fun.
But still again i am not here to complain, instead i like to suggest solutions, or ideas for a path to solution, so the class can be fun for all kinds of players. (those who like it this way and those who are like me)
1, First of all my first idea is to give Nekromancer another special slot next to Death shroud.
Would work the same way as Death Shroud (dh from now on), as you kill stuff you get “spirit force” instead of “life force”, and can activate it when full for a differeant set of skills. You can switch (or activate) any of them anytime and switch what “resource” you get till the bar fills.
2,Implementing more weapons .
I know this a slightly bigger upgrade for the whole game i guess, but i can see a good potential in this. Would be a lot better solution since players can costumize there characters play style a lot easyer.
-Dirk – Combat tipe weapon that is tipically more melee or offensive then dagger (or less offensive and more defensive, with skills that sustain Nekromancer)
-Kris – The tipical sacrefical dagger that can not be used for real combat, its tipically ornamented and is used for rituals.
-Off hand Incense holder- THe item that would fit Nekromancer. They are used for burial rituals, and would fit the class ultimately.
-Off hand Books – This is a tipical item that fits all caster class, would be a nice addition to all class. (even guardian)
Later on i try to study the existing skill sets and create a set for these.
3, Skill swapping utility skills. Like enginer and (or) weapon summon skills like elementalist has.
-Summon Scythe- I found this a brilliant idea. Not only all players can get a new weapon they so desire, but it does not need to be added to the weapons list since its a Nekro specific summon. I am sure a LOT of players would love Necros for this summon.
-Utility skill : Book of the Dead- A skill where the Nekromancer equips the Book of Dead(like Enginerss equip granade belt) and gets a skill set that uses skeletons, mummies or any kind of Minion master skilss that use undead. A skill that finally gives the Nekromancers thee Min master build, witout a need to remake the whole class, minion skills or a need for a new weapon.
