Guild Wars 2

So, I’m not enjoying the game as much as I used to but I feel that is because I’m not able to play as my favourite classes, so I would much like to know for certain that you are going to add new classes? And I think that you should add maybe a Dervish, or maybe a re-imagined Monk, as no weapon Melee Magic users or they have a pole, like a Non-Weapon using Guardian-Thief. Maybe add new weapons to the game likes Throwing Spears or a Scythe just something new and fresh.

Anyone else agree with me?

I am sure they will add new profession in coming expansions you just will have to be patient. I am also sure that they will bring back the derivsh in some form or another

In guild wars 1 they have the monk profession, so i guess it would be pretty easy to bring that class back. But if they do they will have to intro Cantha cause most of the monks are form there. Dervish would also be nice to see and most of them are from Elona.

Monks were not in the Factions expansion they were part of the original game. Secondly the monk has been absorbed into the Guardian profession now doubt we will see them back

Monks and paragons merged disciplines to form the Guardian class. Any attempt to recreate a monk would either be a repeat of the guardian or sufficiently unlike GW1 monks that the similarity is limited to name.

Dervishes (and Ritualists) have lore issues coming back in their old forms. While there is nothing to say that scythes can’t be added as weapons, dervishes were holy warriors, and the asura don’t really revere the human gods the way humans do, to say nothing of the charr’s opinion on the matter. One of the drawbacks of multiple races is the need for a class system that is not steeped in the lore of an individual race.
