Lightning Spells (Longrange Offensive)
—-Static Wave (600 Radius AoE attack)
—-Static Bolts (1200 Range)(Similar to what a mesmer GS attack looks like)
Stone/Earth Spells (Defensive)
—-Earthen Shield (Domes player for 3sec like the Shaman in fractals)
—-Earthen Wall (Bursts a rock wall out of the ground to block attacks. Destroyable)
Fire Spells (Shortrange Offensive)
—-Flaming “Mainhand Weapon” (Ignites mainhand weapon for 10sec allowing fire condition damage)
—-Phoenix Leap (600 Range Leap that upon landing AoE fire damage)
Heal Skills.
Cleansing Waves (Heal caster 7500, AoE heal allies for 1000, no AoE field left behind)

Basically take this to be a Heavy Armor class, single-hand weaponry, offhand magic. The traits n such are usually so varied and numerous I wont bother making any up. Moderate powered weaponry and magics would create a class capable of altering its situation during a battle similar to an elementalist, while with heavy armor n actual melee weapon skills become a frontline fighter. A class with a multitude of cool flashy skill options would be assumed when using magic.
Personally while I like my guardian, or my warrior, I dont much care for my guardian spamming his scepter skill (which occasionally forces you to spam the clicker to pick something up off the ground mid combat “Jade Maw”). I would like to see a class of this sort in a expansion to the game with the much asked for med/light Shapeshifter type characters. Both would add a fun new depth to combat.
