Hello Guild Wars Community!
So, seeing as this is the best MMO out. Why shouldn’t we go all out? I propose like some other minor MMO’s that were able to introduce this into games and be very lucrative. What I am talking about of course is marriage in game! We should be able to marry other players. Oh! Do not profile it either, of course we want to have everyone happy? So don’t make it only same sex marriage. Make it so a guy and guy, girl and girl can be married as well. Everyone should be happy yes? So I would suggest this to happen. Of course if we were to go full out I would also recommend that we also incorporate a type of minigame. For instance say the couple is married for a while. They can “procreate” an NCP which would be there child..of a mixed race for instance Human + Norn etc etc. Also be able to buy a section of land out of any area that is the “common cities” in which you can build a house, family etc. Just to have a higher interest peak level in the game. I am an upcoming designer, and I thought of this as an add on eventually to the game that would make it just pop to everyone. Sincerely -Oden

No but honestly, without even trying to touch upon the subject of actual procreation, I don’t see anything wrong with cross-race relationships.

Hmm I’m going to have to hunt it down, but I think they commented about this before.

Mixed races can’t reproduce, Anet have stated that quite thoroughly, especially in relation to norn and humans because they are the closest.

Also buying land = BAD idea. You’ve instantly gone into dangerous territory where everyone would want to buy the closest piece of land and it would be impossible because it would have been already bought by people beforehand. People complain and then buy lands farther and farther away until there is no spare land left. Homes should be left inside the home instances in the city.

For same race relationships, the couple could choose to merge their two instances together. For cross race relationships, the couple could either designate a primary home instance or leave both instances fully open to the couple, so one person could see the others progress with their story line through in game npcs or whatnot.

Ahh, Castle you have a good point. Well all of you do. What would you all suggest to help the idea along? I had forgot about the mixing of races. However if anyone can help this post along just post your ideas. This is a community, not just one person. Feel free to help out!
