New Weapons
- whips would be a neat addition
Whip
Crossbow
Halberd
2-Handed Axe
We are sworn together by our blood…
- whips would be a neat addition
I’m sure caithe would approve of this when she visits Faoline
Would be neat to see:
Ranger:
-Crossbow
Thieves:
-Giant Shuriken (forgot the technical name)
2015-2016
Fort Aspenwood
Fists/hands: warrior, guardian, elementalist
hands is for the elementalist(who says eles need weapons)
Fists for the warrior and guardians
This has been suggested so many times, and I only ever have two things to say to it.
1. Yes, new weapons are definitely a must.
2. BUT, let’s try to keep things within the realm of GW2.
Double-Axes won’t work. We already have double-axes in-game. They’re just called axes.
And the rapier clashes hard with some profession’s take on the 1h Sword.
Shurikens… Really?!
I’m not even gonna comment on power rings.
Ideas like the Crossbow, Whip, and Halberd are the only ones with serious merit.
I’d personally really like to see Knuckles incorporated.
Something a little more hands-on so we can have bruiser-style thieves or magical-boxer elementalists would be very neat.
Lv80s: Guard, Thief, Necro. Renewed my Altaholic’s card on the HoT Hype-Train. Choo choo~
crossbow, maybe,
Whip, i could see, the ele would look boss with a whip(it being on fire would look boss)
halberd, would be more spear wise, a halberd is just a really long axe(basically bit more too it, but it can be reduced down to that) a spear would be more likely

Depends on the culture. The japanese halberd looks like this: http://www.linkamerica.com/products/store/media/knives/swords_single/KFS926707.jpg
While the western halberd looks more like this: http://www.a2armory.com/images/axes-pics/MedievalHalberd.jpg
Personally, I prefer the japanese style. But my point is, that they look very different depending on the culture they originate from.
