I recently submitted a ticket for My laurel item. I made the mistake of purchasing a defensive slot item. When I didn’t even know You couldn’t apply certain infusions to it. I assumed that all infusions can be used on any item such as all other added features to armor and weapons etc. But guess what infusions are different. There was never any explanation to this feature. Why must it be different. Be aware if you have yet to spend your hard earned laurels watch what infusion slot your items have. The ticket came back and guess what ? There is nothing they can do “right now”. It seems that’s the answer to everyone. Basically I’m asking anet to do is drop this infusion slot difference so everyone can enjoy any infusion no matter what item they have. I doubt I’ll get a response on this but I hope they read it. Maybe they will fix it for the next player.

I agree, there shouldn’t be “Utility/defensive/offensive” Slots, there should just be “Infusion” Slots.. It’s just a pain in the kitten and makes buying the wrong item by mistake even more unforgiving.
