“Armor that is currently equipped can no longer be transmuted.”

Does this mean that transmutation stones are useless now? Can’t I wear what gear I want when I want it? Am I forced to buy a a new piece of gear EVERYTIME i want to change the skin? Please tell me how this is good??
For example my norn has his tier 1 cultural armor equipped, if i want to use it again at a later level i’m forced to buy the same gear all over again?

What’s the logic behind this? Only to force us to spend more money and reduce the number of items on the trading post?

I believe this means that you need to unequip the item before you can transmute it, not that if you have equipped an item it can never be transmuted. I just tested it, and all I had to do to successful transmute my item was unequip it. When I tried to transmute it whilst it was equipped, nothing happened. As soon as I took the piece of gear off, I had no problems.

I noticed that before this change, when I transmuted an item I was wearing, it tended to was unequipped after doing so. Perhaps the coding of the game didn’t agree with doing things this way. Hope I helped!
