I really don’t know where to post this and I wasn’t able to find a similar topic in the forums. But as the topic states, me and many others I know would like to see anet develop nicer dagger skins. Tbh, many of the daggers in this game look pretty below average with only some looking decent like the corrupted shards and AC daggers. I personally don’t like the look of incinerators though others like it hence its not much incentive for me to work for one.

Looking at the champion weapon drops in this latest event. All the weapons look amazing except for the daggers (Anton’s boot blade and the sacrificial knife or something) and if you compare it to Lord Taeres’s Shadow or Entropy, Genesis or Cobalt or even crystal guardian, It really isn’t on the same level by far.

I hope Anet can give more attention to dagger skin designs in future, it would really give ppl who play dagger wielding classes something to look forward to.

I#d love to see daggers, that are lookling, like beign spirited by the wind and lightning.

Yes i nkow there are the mystic daggers, that have that kind of lightning animation, but their blade design is ugly imo.

I’d like to se somethign like those 3 in the middle, seen from the right view angle
These with a blade that is as long like the centaur skin daggers in GW2
And these together with elemental animations around their blades, like sparkling lightnings flashing up when you slash with the daggers (lightning/wind trails)

Just think on a dancing dagger skill usage that has a trail of lightning/wind when you throw it, god would that be awesome ^^.
My thief is themed around wind/lightning and I’d really like to have some awesome liking dagger skins that match to this…

Alot of the daggers in GW2 have sadly also too short blades for my taste (except the centaur themed daggers, which have currently from all daggers the longest blades by far) I like it when my daggers on my thief look more like “Short Swords” as the class currently misses the ability to dual wield swords sadly … what they should be really able to do with a kind of Blasde Dance skill as Dual Skill would surely look awesoem dual wielding 2x Bolt or bolt with a wind themed counterpart in the other hand ^^ .. DROOL I want to have that hehe

Hard to find in the net some good examples for dagger concept arts ect. sadly

wow .. those are some really nice daggers.. i myself also personally prefer longer looking daggers.. hence why im using corrupted shards.. with their effects.. they look longer..

I personally am hoping anet comes up with daggers with blackish purple effects like lord taeres’s shadow.. it would go so well with my ninja/matrix look thief. XD

glad someone agree with me that Gw2 needs nicer dagger skins.

I would enjoy something along the side of the greatsword Twilight, a trail of drakness would be great for a thief’s dagger, we actually have really few “thiefish” weapons.
