It`s been eight months & STILL this happens….

If you can`t handle coding this, will you at least allow the players to make mods to stop this sort of thing from happening?

Personally, I wouldn’t mind if this stuff happened if the pop-ups were not in the center of the screen.

Please let us choose the location of pop up. I’d prefer they be in the top center or off to the right.

Sure, if we had an option to move/save the placement, ala Guild Wars, that`d be excellent, but this is beyond irritating :$

Never had a problem with it and I play melee. Know where you are and what is going on. It is a simple click and if you die during a single click action to ignore it you were going to die anyway.

These popups are annoying, even those “Do you want to exit to Wayfarer Foothills?” when you get too close to the green starburst in instances. Off with their heads!

Would be great if you could customize what you want to see too.
We could have, in options:

  • [ x ] No Pop-ups.
  • Hide the interface during combat:
    (option 1) [all interface]
(option 2) [minimal interface] (skill bar, status effects, enemy bar)
I think the above would be enough, but if Anet is feeling generous they could also do:
(option 3) individual elements: [event log] [mini map] [skill bar] [etc, etc]

But they said before they don’t want to let us disable interface elements because some players might get confused if they play with the options and then forget they did it.
Honestly, if you know how to get to options, then I don’t see how you could forget. I mean, it’s on the red menu when you hit ESC!
