Guild Wars 2

After I finished the collection on AC gear sets, the next armor set that suppose to have good looking is nobleman’s set from CM. But after I looked into it closely, I found some wired problem.

All the npcs who wears this set of armor, are wearing the new sets. I mean, just take a look at the one who sells all this -

Eva got a very very shinny set of armor, which is very beautiful. But the thing she sells, will be look like this -

All those cracks and flaws and rusts! Why did they even exist there? This is not noble at all, nor the one showed by npc! Why do you make a new set of texture for this armor and the only thing it can do is to prevent players from getting a nice set of armor?

I hope I could use the set same as the npc shows. Every dungeon merchant is wearing the armor set from the dungeon, it’s like a advertisement which says “look at me! If you like my outfitting, you should take care of this dungeon set.” But on CM, it’s just a false advertisement, it lies to people! And besides, it makes no sense, why the nobleman’s armor sets looks like garbage? Why the npc doing false advertisement? Why did any armor so broken still in use? It’s just so confusing to me.

I hope the armor skin could be fixed in future version. This is very simple, just bring the skin on the npcs to it and all will be fine, but it will really make all dungeon armors looks epic. For now, CM is the most ridiculous one.

PS: it turned out even worse if you use some metal colour dye. It looks so broken that I fears it will shattered into pieces anytime during the combat.

i really like the battered version… but maybe some kind of mystic forge recipe to repair it would be good

I like the dirty look, but for being a “nobles” armour it doesn’t really fit the theme.

I understand that someone will rather like the dirty look, but still, if you use a metal colour dye, the dirty part will looks just wired in the middle of other shining parts.

And the most confusing problem is the npc sells this armor actually wears the clean version of it, which makes me feel cheated

A recipe to repair it could be good enough. And why not? They don’t need to create new textures anyway, just give people the NPC version skin and everything will be perfect

yes it is. And the funny thing is, even the ghastly set, which comes directly from ascalonian catacombs, and clearly haunted(you can see that from the weapon) by the ghosts there for probably many years, looks just brand new. And the nobleman’s armor set, which is provide by the seraph order as the reward for bravery and heroism about defending a minister and securing the peace between races, looks just like garbage.

I completely agree. if I buy new armor I want it to look new.
or even sell both options.
