Norn Spirits (OWL)
Fun idea for a weekend but several ideas are flawed based off of lore.
That lore being that: when the Norn fled the northern shiver peaks, the spirits of the wild held Jormag at bay as long as they could, this resulted in the Spirit of the Owl being killed and completely destroyed.
No spirit animal = no power to call upon = no power to call upon = no transformations = no shamans = no spirit guide
far as we know there is no way to replace or bring back a guardian of the mists such as the Spirit Animals.

I agree. I didn’t make a Norn because I dislike their design, but Owl would have been my character’s selection. The wise, protective mother-matriarch is an appealing character theme. The second best you can get is Wolf, who protects his pack.
LOL a Charr folllowing the pale tree, no way any self respecting Charr would do that.

Despite Owl’s apparent death (was that reference to “hope” hinting at more than just the survival of the of the Norn through Owls’ sacrifice, hmm?) I did an event cycle “Protect the Owl shaman while she banishes the Dragon totem” last weekend, and Owl’s shaman seemed quite active.
