Not-So Splendid Chests
Splendid has a decent chance at a good item.
My issue is splendid chest dropping level 4 blues for my level 80.
Agreed. Have done Dwyana event 2 time from start to finish and 1 time from last escort to end and have only gotten blue items from the chest.
Splendid chests should consistently contain worthwhile items. They should consistently be linked to challenging encounters and rewards for completing a challenging encounter should be significant to the participant.
In that same vein, super awesome items shouldn’t be dropping from regular mobs. As you’re leveling, chests should be something awesome, rare and rewarding. Lowering equip drops from mobs would also go a little ways to fixing the crafting uselessness issue.
I think it’d be more amusing to change the name to “Not-So-Splendid Chest”.
Or maybe “Completely Routine Accessory Parcel [ C. R. A. P. ]”?
