Numeric Enemy HP bar & Total Level Shown
I like engaging a target and not knowing 100% how they’re built, forces me to change my tactics on the fly instead of only targeting soft foes. Guild Wars 1 became very numeric and a lot of the unpredictability I loved left it over time.
I remember reading somewhere that A-net wants to minimize as many UI’s the a player has to deal with. They made a reference to WoW where you see numbers popping up all over the place and you have no idea what they are and they wanted to avoid that.
Besides when you punch someone… you have no idea how much harder you’ll have to punch them till they get knocked out do you? :P

Well, I understand the lack of unorganized numbers flying across the screen, the allowance of having a numeric HP bar ( Which I said would be a setting the user would be able to turn on in the settings, allowing players such as TCChris to still have the non-numeric bar keeping the unknown factor in the game) would allow for players such as myself who likes to understand fully the enemy I’m going to go against instead of blindy doing damage to them.

I should be allowed to see how much HP is left or what they have starting not saying everyone would want to but a setting that would allow for me to see a number would be great. the enemy downs all the same, having the numbers just makes it an experience difference for me. also having for example 100/100 in the red bar isn’t adding anything more to the UI that isn’t already there.
ANet wanted players watching the action on screen, not their UI. While I wouldn’t care if they added a feature I didn’t want as long as it was optional, I’d prefer they worked on things I do want instead. So … /not signed.

If they would put this in options very soon 90% of the players will switch to it and the little “unpredictability” of the game what we have now will vanish in thin air.
