This topic has already been posted on these boards before, but I would just like to readdress the issue because I’ve notice that lag and ping issues have constantly been increasing in the past few days.

I’m an Australian player and ping hasn’t really been an issue until recently where I’ve been experiencing around 2 seconds of delay in general PVE and even instance areas. Oceanic servers would really help out many players who are forced to either choose US or EU servers and bare with huge ping.

I agree with you man i’m a big PVP player myself its difficult for me to play. If Oceanic servers were up i would play all day. Please dont make me regret buying this game because there no point if your going to sell the game all over the world and only have US or EU servers running haha.

Yeah im from AUS as well. I do not understand why there aren’t even one server in AUS for this game.

I’m sure the cost of running it would not be considerable, however, it would show that Anet supports its Australian gamers – which I’m sure there are plenty.

I’m from new zealand myself and know about 8 other people from here who also play the game and it would be awesome to have an oceanic server. Having more region based servers could also end up being helpful in the case of any more one time events (that way they wouldn’t be scheduled to such ridiculous times for some regions
