[Official]: We want Cloaks/Capes Thread
edit: oh and more back items….that look cool, not some cheesey guild backpack that looks like it was made for a 14 year old girl.
It was removed last second because of some clipping issues, I’m sure it’ll be here in a few updates.

They removed it cause of “clipping issues”, implying they actually believe there isn’t already an insane amount of clipping issues in the game

YES PLEASE! And more hood options as head pieces are one of the most visible armour pieces. Tattered hoods, basic hoods, hoods that show the whole face, hoods that barely show your mouth, royal hoods (for those who like shinies), “Ghastly” hoods maybe? (Makes your head look like a skeleton at night? ) MOE SKEENS!
break. I feel like they should be back by now..”
Yes of course! We are all wishing for it! Lol clipping issues indeed though I wouldn’t mind clipping issues as long as it looks fine while I’m standing and running, for a split second as I’m swinging a sword and such… That wouldn’t really matter that much, things clip anyway, it’s super hard to make it perfect
Back in DaoC there were cloaks. And then they added hooded cloaks, with a toggle so you could have the hood up on your head or down on your back. And it was wonderful.
I don’t know how much I want a cloak in GW2, actually. I’d certainly want it to have a toggle like hats and shoulders. It would depend on the cloak physics. Just having a stiff panel hanging down my back? Meh. Having something that drapes over the shoulders and moves like flowing cloth .. muuuuch more interesting. Get variations in style such as cavalier half-circle capes, short cloaks, long cloaks, coachman cloaks with shoulder flaps, opera cloaks with spiffy collars … mmmm getting even more intriguing!
