Only Zerk and DPS ?
It isn’t the gear or stats.
Why bring a CC build to a dungeon when you can’t CC the champ? You may as well make it die faster then and that defiant mechanic is awful. No one really likes dealing with trash all that much since fighting them are uninteresting and are pretty much just a bump to the champ so why bring a CC build for them when you can just skip or kill them fast enough?
A lot of boss mechanics can one shot or hit so hard that you pretty much need to dodge and your main heal should be able to top you off if you do take some damage if it isn’t a one shot hit. Even tanky, they will just one shot. Why even bother with anything other than DPS when it is better to just kill the boss as fast as you can?
It is the fights. Why do anything other than DPS when that is the only thing you really need for the fights?
Professions don’t really bring anything unique to groups. No special mechanic is needed from any of the professions. The dungeons were all designed to be completed with any group make up so they had to design based on the lowest common denominator. Guess what is the thing that all classes can do to ensure that design goal?
