Can we implement Open world pvp servers?
Leveling a new toon would be more fun, and there will be no greefing since YOU selected the pvp server, then pver’s that don’t like being interrupted when picking herbs can stay on current pve mode.
You would stay on you current home server but would pick “open world pvp leveling” tab/button to enter/que.. (Like the mist) and when you like to pve level you simply “port” back/exit.

WvW is just a zerg fest, once you find a nice 1v1 2v2 or whatever to try you skills there is just a matter of seconds until the zerg is around the corner after its standard loop to steamroll you over.
Can someone post a link on Anets future/upcoming plans for GW2

Also dueling as other posters have mention would be nice,, don’t see the harm, but if there is something I missed, at least in the “mist” please. Every other mmo have it.

But seriously, you think Zerg won’t happen in open world?

WvW. Lore wise, this couldn’t happen unless they allowed players to join up with the enemies like Inquest, Seperatists, Nightmare court, etc.

I’d choose even PvP servers over the current snoozefest. My first preference would be Guild vs. Guild in the open world, though.

I like the idea, i have thought even if they made Orr a PvP zone so when you zone in you can choose PvP or PvE.

World pvp is the one thing i miss from other mmos and WvW is not really pvp its just mass zerging.

Zerg in open world pvp,,Na I don’t think so not to that scale in WvW, smaller groups maybe but that’s expected, have played other mmo with open world pvp and not encountered any issues with zergs. But yes if they make objectives in open world I can see zergs forming, but a clone of current build I don’t think so. You might hit a large leveling group, but if they power level they probably stick to the pve server.

As far as the lore I have not paid attention to that so much so cant comment on that , maybe a few zones in the world with shared quest and pvp?
