As the title says, an option for that would be awesome.

I always liked the “play as you want” aspect and I also like to play melee, but getting punished because I can’t see my enemy just plain sucks.

With a toggle I would only see the effects of my enemy and my own, that would remove the punishment for not being able to see the enemys move

(sure, you can dodge without seeing him doing anything, but that would just be luck based)

also if you want, please support the post in the October 15th preview -Thread since it already contains a lot of Quality of Life updates

By effects you dont only mean the aoe but the projectiles as well? Im up for a way to reduce the effects on screen but there always the problem in group fights dodgin and negating moves made by surrounding enemies and utilising friendly fields. I think a more complicated system is needed to reduce the effects on screen so it doesnt flash madly and drop your fps atleast in zergs.
