The Zodiac weapon skins are blue
The Twilight Assault weapon skins are blue
And now, the Dreamthistle weapon skins are blue too…

Let me guess: Your favorite colour is blue! In case you didn’t know: There are other pretty colors, like green, red, yellow…

PS: Delaqua has AWESOME weapons, I really hope that they will come into the game (I know it already, they will be in black lion chests -.-)

This problem would not exist if they made weapons dyeable. :-)

They really should have brought weapon dyes back.

But then some weapons would become pointless because they are the same weapon in a different colour (Asura Tier 1 and SE come to mind)

Well legendary weapons and some exotics i dont think should be dyed but the rares, cultural, dungeon, those skins

I support the OP’s main point: there’s room for more color schemes. Couldn’t the dreamthistles have been green?

To be fair, weapon sets aren’t all “blue:” molten, aether, king toad, and sunless are other colors. Plus, ascended offers a variety pack, even though the colors are tied to stats.

I suspect weapons cannot be dyed because it’s a lot more work than any of think it is. I know from posts by ANet staff that adding armor sets is horribly labor-intensive, since you have to allow for dyeing, clipping, and combat animations (among many other things). Much as I would like to be able to dye weapons, I am not holding my breath.

Don’t think any of us are holding are breath Illconceived, they are hard at work on an mmo that has done more changes in the past year, then some do in their lifetimes! Game is amazing as it is, but people will always have ideas

Weapon dyes will come, Just like cloaks (once they get better at clipping control…SO MUCH clipping still in the game!).

But, I agree with the OP on the Color. We need something different then Blue. Blue is nice but, like the fire theme armor, its over done.

I think that future weapon skin (Via the RNG-Gambiling, Gem store Game!!) releases should be in 5 Colors;

Red
Blue
Black
Green
Purple

Or starting with new Weapon Skins, Offer a Dye Component to change the Main Color Attribute on them. For the Dreamthistle, the Green Hilt is fine (since its a vine) But being able to change the projected ‘weapon’ part of the Hilt should be an option.

But, all that aside, I LOVE the dreamthisle’s combined Color of Dark-Green/Green-blue, Black/Shadow, and Transparent Blue. THAT is a step in the right direction for how a weapon skin that now costs 75g/$65(Depending on RNG, could be FAR more) should Look! (And yea, I’m going to start farming to out right buy the Dreamthistle Focus to replace my last peacekeepers Focus!)
