Guild Wars 2

I know there are already rumors about introducing land polearms in future patches/releases, but I’ d like to have a proper thread about it.

I’ d love to see this kind of weapons both on melee and ranged professions:
The first one because, well like someone said in another thread, they’re just kick*ss and the second because it would be a nice blend of magical and physical attacks.

Spears, pikes, halberds, 2h axes, scythes, the lot! which would you prefer?

On my hand a warrior with a scythe would be awesome :P

I really don’t like the fantasy weapon-sythes, they never get good animations.

Polearms would be neat though,.
