Guild Wars 2

Wouldnt it be cool to have a competition where players have a chanse to win a prize that somhows end up in the game…

For example… Design an armour set/piece – Best one is designed and introduced by A-net….
It could be about anything… A hairstyle, a face, a special (tast/horn…. etc) for some race… an armour piece, a piece of Town clothing, a good line…. Design a villain… a weapon…

A-net picks one subject – doesnt have to be a big one. But I Think being a part of this game would inspire LOTS of ppl!

A-net is the judges of this competition as they knows best whats fits into the lore… If there are many good ideas perhaps there could be some fort of voting from players…

It sounds fantastic, I always enjoy these types of competitions as it allows players to feel like they contributed to the development of their game. God knows we need some new armor/weapon skins.

And it was a kitten good idea.

They did this back in GW1 with unique “green” weapons and some of the designs that made it into the game have become pretty iconic. My only fear is that everyone is going to design even more ridiculously huge greatswords or spikey armor and not something interesting and new.
