My biggest (and maybe only) problem with the game is it’s sokittenhard to play with friends in a party. This is partly due to the overflow system, but it’s also a problem with seeing where exactly your party members are on the map.

Some ideas:

1. Dodgy map info: If I’m in Divinity’s Reach (overflow or not) I can see my friend in Queensdale as a tiny singularity of a blue dot. Sometimes it’s there, sometimes it isn’t. Please make the party member dot bigger and more obvious for my poor brain!

2. Direct Travel: Allow the ability to direct travel to exactly where your party member is. At the moment this works okay by getting you to the closest gate, but then it’s pure luck, especially considering how flaky the blue dot problem above is. I’d love to be able to teleport right to my friends side if I’m in the same zone. A cooldown or cost would be a good way of preventing abuses.

3. Direct trading: A lot of the time I loot items that my friend might like. I have to go through the mail system which can take its time. A direct, person-to-person trade window is pretty standard these days in MMO’s and is nice when you’re questing with friends to swap gear.

4. Party Combo Feedback: I LOVE the combo system. I think it makes combat with friends exciting and original. The only problem is that a lot of people don’t know when or how to use it. I’d love for the interface to alert someone that I’ve laid down a Combo Field ability that they can use, and similar for Finishers (a “FINISHER!!!” alert with crazy Japanese epileptic robot animations would be lovely).

5. Quest progress sharing. This is a cool way of letting your party know how far a long you are in the current heart quest instead of having to constantly check after every kill. A tooltip on hovering over a heart that listed your party members and their completion would be cool, or a smaller section on your quest tracker.

There are more, I’ll probably figure them out when I’m raging later on.
