What if whenever you sent mail to someone you had to include 1s (or some other smallish amount)? The receiver could then send it back if it was a friend, but a gold seller would actually have to pay his victim to spam them.

Are there any flaws with this that I’m overlooking?

I would prefer to not have to pay money to send mail, seeing as how there is not trading system currently.

If they did implement this, i think 20c would be sufficient.

What if you -really- want to send a mail and are broke? COD? What if they don’t accept?

In DDO you do have to pay postage to send mail, but I do not know how the system works.

I don’t really see a need for this, If anything adding the 20c is just a hassle. I just report it as spam and block.

How many scenarios can you imagine where you would REALLY need to send someone something, but have no money at all to send it with? Now counter those scenarios with all the spam emails that get sent out EACH day.
