Just a small idea, I think it would an good option to have the ability to be able to pin points on the map with a flag or whatever for your own personal benefit. They could act as markers for Ore spawns or event locations that you know of. Would come in handy. They would only show up on your own map

Seconded and amended: When I set a pin allow me to write up a brief tooltip so I can remember why I pinned that spot. In my travels I’ve come across some awesome spots that I like to show to others or use as a RP backdrop.
