First of all, let me start by saying that I really, really like this game. The only other MMO I’ve played is SWTOR and I hated it. But the one thing TOR had that I wish this game had is a permanent “sprint” power. It doesn’t make sense to me why this doesn’t exist especially since there are no mounts in game. All the current swiftness ability does is make me waste a skill slot or use a warhorn, which I hate. I like WvW more than anything about this game… it’s usually all I spend my time playing but there’s lots of ground to cover and extra speed without sacrificing a skill or weapon slot would be nice.

It’s why I only play classes with a 25% movement signet.

Engineer has the ability to permanently use swift.

There’s a lot of combos that can stack 1 minute (or more) of swiftness, and the sigil of speed on the weapon gives you 10 seconds of swiftness each time you kill a foe.
