I remember one night when I logged onto AION and they had this merchant who would sell sets of animations. You could personalize all of your animations for running, walking, etc. with these animation sets.
I think something like that would be cool, and we could pay for it with real money. Things like ninja running for thieves or fencing animations for warriors, coupled with more skins for armour and weapons, would lead to some very creative player customization. A thief could be a swash-buckling pirate with two pistols or a silent assassin with two daggers. A warrior could be a dauntless samurai with a huge sword or a lumbering Viking with a hammer. I’m not sure about magic classes yet, although I’m sure casting animations could be changed to suit a person’s tastes.
