I imagine this idea won’t be very popular, but I’ll put it here anyway.
During the party at the end of the game I'd like to suggest licencing "Wake Me Up" by Avicii, because I played it when the credits started rolling and it went really well with the situation.
I know GW2 music is supposed to be relevant to the theme, but in some games they use licenced songs that really set the mood: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y4V8kfb79TI
Wake Me Up seems to do that quite well.

Except that song is just actually bad…
The only reason it seemed to fit for you is because you personally like the song. I honestly don’t feel like it fits. There is a huge difference between a song like that and something like Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru which fans of Kingdom Hearts absolutely loved.
Also noted that when games license music more often than not the song is made specifically for the game… When you tack existing songs on games it doesn’t work so well, as we saw with FF-13 and 13-2.
It worked with the songs in the video I linked, and they weren’t made specifically for the games. There is bound to be people who like and dislike any song, just like how there is bound to be someone who plays Guild Wars and hates the music.
The reason I think it fits is because it’s an ,upbeat, feel good, party song, and that ‘mission’ is a celebratory party.
On the first part of your post I’d re-word that to “I think that that song is just actually bad…” It’s just the way you worded that seemed kind of ideological (If that is the correct term to use.). Just to make sure; I’m not being aggressive.
