Guild Wars 2

So after grouping with a friend that is fairly new to the game, a couple of us decided we would make a night of doing his personal story. Its soon became extremely frustrating as he does not have a great deal of the map uncovered and his knowledge of zones is next to none. Him trying to lead us to his quests was painful, and we couldn’t really help considering we cannot see where he has to go.

Could it not be possible to allow people in your immediate group to be able to see you story marker on the map so your group mates could help you locate and complete these quests ? Its not a question of quest difficulty as he could solo the quests, but if people want to group up for the sake of playing with friends, I think this would be a nice touch to the game.

wow if u guys can’t even communicate and tell ur friend to ping where his next story step is thats jus sad.

Or they could simply add what I suggested, but ty for your helpful and informative post. I’m glad we have people like yourself to remind us all that internet toughguys despite popular belief really are pathetic.

If you get him to open his map and place it by the story quest marker hopefully you will all be able to see it.
