I can’t be the only one who thinks this.

Lots of players start their personal story after leveling a little. Especially since story instances often skip levels, forcing players to go roam around and level up before continuing.

In my opinion:
The weapon / armor given should always match your level or exceed it by 1.

That way you can look forward to using it instead of considering whether to salvage it or just throw it away.

But if you do that, players will ignore their personal story until they’ve leveled to 80 and then will farm the stories for gear – making it a broken system.

I think that’s impossible as they are meant to guide players into higher level zones. So even if it scaled to your level, It would be difficult to complete your personal story if you are level 35 and you have to go to Orr to complete a part of the story.
