Create official designing contest/event so players would design/draw/3D work an fantasy animal/pet/monster or any of gears/weapons, ArenaNet should pick the what would we create, and later if some of those would be really good, they would be implemented in next game upgrade(expansion).
Place a gem reward for first 3 places.
