I think you should be able to get every pet because, people travel so far for nothing. When they find out you cant get other pets from different worlds it stinks. I mean what is the point you do nothing but look at them wishing you can get it but never can. You can trade them too! Maybe you want a pet another person has but cant find it! All you have to do is trade!
I would make me so estacic to see something like a fire lion are ghostdog how cool would that be! How about you breed your pets and make different color pets like stripes with pink dots! I would love that!!!!!!

I’m sorry, but this game isn’t pokemon, or anything of the sort. While I understand your idea, I just don’t think such frivolous things should be implemented into the game.

Besides there are only three pets that can’t be gotten just by travelling.

On top of that, Rangers already have a special thing that only they can do in collecting pets in the first place. To also get a whole “mini game” all to themselves would be kind of lame.

Unless you’re talking about minipets which is even worse.

I kinda support the OP’s suggestion in that I would actually like to customise my pet’s appearance and it’s F2 skill. For example, I really like the Ice Drake’s appearance, but it’s F2 skill is more or less useless. It’d be nice if I could “breed” or “train” my Ice Drake so it can use the Salamander Drake’s Fire Breath skill instead of Ice Breath. (Obviously, the pets are still restricted to using skills from within their own pet family. No Jellyfish using Fear Howls or nonsense like that. :P)
