Would it be possible to get some sort of ping indicator for the UI?
DDO has a network latency indicator that automatically appears when lag hits a certain level. It also disappears when the lag goes away. Hovering over it displays a pop-up with latency info.
The indicator can also be enabled/disabled in Options.
