If you have a party, you can ping or mark things on the minimap, but how about pinging (and marking) in the in game world? For example, party leader can hold the Alt key and left click somewhere in his line of sight and all the party members will see his ping point in the game world and on the minimap as well.

It could be useful in dungeons or during events since you can’t ping or mark locations, just enemies.

Can’t you already do this by holding the alt key and drawing with your mouse? or is it ctrl, I can’t remember.

You have to do that on minimap, but I’m talking about doing a similar thing on a environment without the use of minimap.
