There are Human / Norn kids and Charr cubs running around but no Asura’s or Silvary’s.
Your argument isn’t really a problem for implementing kids or aging in the game.
The only argument against kids would be “if they put this option only to specific races, implies adding different other separations between races” like race specific profession which will never be a possibility due to A-Net philosophy

I’ve seen Asura kids running around in Lion’s arch or possibly in one of my lion arch story quests. They’re really really tiny XD…

Well… I don’t really know what I think about this suggestion..

This idea is a pretty good one but it would be better if everyone started out as a kid and grew up as they lvld.

No there are not a lot of games where you play as a kid.
And NO those japanese anime dolls don’t count, this is not an anime game.
And NO games for little kids don’t count either, this game is rated T (teen) by ESRB.

It wouldn’t make sense either, for the following reasons:
-Let’s give the pact a 10 year old commander, yeah right.
-Asura progeny fit in my pocket, you can barely see them let alone their gear.
-Sylvari don’t have kids.
-Charr children live in Farhars and are not allowed to leave untill they reach adult
hood, in fact, they don’t even have a name before they leave (check the lore).
-In your story you often take up important roles (leader of this, commander of that etc etc). Jobs you simply don’t give to a kid..

Yea, the Fable idea was awesome. If we all started as kids and as we level we get older would have really made this game an RPG.

i think of tera, and their fox-girl characters. and i think of the “pedi-bears” in that game.

hey if i will point you to a game called fable 2. It has what your talking about. Id pick it up if you can. IT has the kid mode where your action control the outcome of the world. Don’t get the third it does not have kid mode.

Gummy’s post on page 1 gives an excellent example of how to play a “child” character without necessarily having selectable child models.

I’m not saying that kids SHOULD be in GW2. But reacting as if kids are unheard of in video games and that it’s disturbing for anyone to suggest them is, as the OP keeps telling people, stupid. Note that except in the case of Ash, I’m pretty sure all these kids can be “killed” in their games, to the same extent that our characters are killed in GW2. And these games weren’t rated T.

While I think this idea would be nice and fun, I really doubt it’s something Anet will consider. And while the idea of kids in video games is not inherently creepy, creepers and stupid people could easily make it creepy. Note that the above titles I mentioned were single player console games. Other people spoil the equation! :P
