After playing on average for 15 hours a day since the 3 day headstart here are some of the things i would like the develepors working on….
1) Make us “aware” when people from our friendslist log in.
2) Allow us (or give us some options) to “assign” a sound when we recieve a /tell. The current one isnt loud or make us aware enough.
3) When people log in make the guild message of the day in BIG DARK LETTERS appear in the centre of the screen so nobody misses it.
4) Put the X button for switching weapon above the “1” button and then adjust the text window so we can slide it all the way to the “1” key. The more room the less multiple lines we see. Idealy max out that window every letter counts (why do mmo makers never pay attention to something so important?)
5) When reporting a player for the goldspamming make a goldspamming option. Now its always hard to choose between “harassing” or “spamming”.
6) Give me an option that shows me only the first name, nothing after it nothing in front of it (so no titles) and the complete guild name under it.
7) In the trader i want to be able to “preview” all the gear. Why isnt that the case btw?? Also i would like to preview the guild weapons, armor parts and the backpack.
8) Make a small icon that when i hover over it shows me all bonusses of the guild buffs currently. Also add the current WvW bonus on them. Clicking all those windows and doing manual calculations isnt fun at all.
9) I like to play with least amount of stuff on my screen so i can enjoy the world more. I choose small interface. When i acces the trade post the font is so small and garbled i need to put on reading glasses. Please adjust the trader font for people who have a the smallest interface.
10) Every crafted item seems to have differant looks excpet Huntman when you make bows. The first 3 tiers at least all look the same. Please give us some alternative looks like you did with all the rest of the crafted stuff.
11) Patch notes. I’m a bit baffled about that. I understand its a low priority and programmers prefer to program but after 3 weeks i really wanne see, … and up to date!… update notes in the launcher.
12) Music is very good in this game. Please make an option so we can select the music songs fromt he complete list of songs in the game so we can run the tunes we like best.
13) Playing a hunter i havnt seen any decent helmwear looks for my character. I mean we got a lot but not a “Plain simple leather cap” I would love to have that one in the game (seems lower level leather headgear are all masks in front of the face).
14) When i see a nametagg of a guildie of mine i would like to see in in a differant color so i instantly can see its a mate closeby.
15) Increase the timer of the small loot icons on the right side fo the screen by3 secs.
16) remove the option that people can place a order on the trader under the sell defaultprice of an item. The last 4 days some clowns put in orders lower then selling items to a vendor and its annoying as hell to see them everytime.
17) Option to sell everything that can from youre bags on the Trader with one button (might also help loads on the trader).
18) Make a windows when hovering over my pets with ther stats. To look at the stats now i gotta load a pet, activate it and then wait for the timer to finish and then click the next pet to compaire stats on them. Its silly.
19) My pet still seems to aggro a lot on his own all the time. Its annoying that i cannot walk past mobs without aggroing them. Instead of “trying to fix this” (and it seems a problem somehow) how about an option to remove our pets like we can when we are in a city ? This also is a big wish when i try to jump around and the pet keeps blocking my view all the time.
20) Social isnt optiomal in this game for some reason. I experience it and i read the web is full off those remarks. I really think the Number 1 thing for Arenanet to make first is a guildhouse. I dont mean Twitter and facebookcrap but start with a plain and simple guildhouse and make it the guildies worth their wild to log out there so we getting a tad more social interaction in the game or at least with youre own guildies.
These points are just things that are my personal experience thus far. I love this game, its great I think you guys are on the right track, keep up the good work.
