Let’s get Arena.net to implement them. We all know we want some more options in the chat box.

Map leaders should have a clear place to give each other info. Looking through random map spam isn’t the way forward.

What we need is:
1. Chat channels we can create and invite people to (so you should be able to password and manage it a little).
2. Make us able to give each channel / chatbox their own text color.

Let’s make our wish heard!

Indeed they can, but that is capped at 25 people! We need to be able to communicate between the different commanders, between different maps and any other groups you want to chat between!

Depends on if they are using IRC chat how easy this is.
If they are using it, there may already be a method to do it just not discussed.
Bumping the topic so you get seen, maybe they will move it to suggestions.

I’ve suggested this feature before, but I am too lazy to find the thread. DDO has a custom chat channel feature which is persistent once it is created and has a password protection option and other features exclusive to the person who created the channel.

Yeah, just want some more attention to the topic. But since it has been moved now. The devs will have seen it at the very least! Let’s hope they agree that it is an option we need for many aspects of the game!
