So within 15 minutes of playing the game at launch I noticed there was no 1 to 1 trading system. It’s not the biggest deal to me but im sure some people would really like to just sell an item to another fellow player sometimes even if they just met them (like in a pug group lets say or really someone you may not trust). Now I understand the purpose of the trading post and how it is removing gold from the game with its fees. I’m just throwing out an idea here and saying maybe there should be a mix of the two trading systems. Maybe there should be some way to to trade in a 1 to 1 format yet still apply a fee that will go back into the ‘games bank’. And im NOT saying remove the trading post! Iove it! Im just saying maybe if there was some item that had infinite uses or some skill you could use to bring up……

‘GHOST TRADER BOB’…..or something….

Ghost trader bob may or may not appear in front of the two of you trading. It could just be the name of the ui box that pops open for a trade. Anyways so the idea is that you would trade an item and there would be a 5-15% (static or…..oooo RNG) sales fee that goes to the ghost. That meaning a portion of the price payed for the item doesnt go to the seller but the greedy ghost bob. The point being no posting fee because youre not posting the item anywhere, youre just splitting the sale price with the trade ghost guy.

Anyways just some food for thought. Maybe im missing something and this is a terrible idea but I think it would be quite cool! This would also cause a fine for people trading gold or things ‘illegally’. If this were implemented you could stop the ability to send items/gold in the mail…..though I guess then people would have to walk (port) alllll the way to eachother to trade an item…aw darn (Murble* lazy people).

make the ghost take 10% of the sale fee and id be fine with it. or mail cod with 10% of the value requested goes to the “mailman”
