Player to player trading system
I don’t think the devs are going to implement that feature, for reasons to me unknown: in the meantime you can use the mail. It’s not as quick, but works the same.

Here’s why:
To prevent the number of people going: So and so scammed me! He said he was going to give me X item for Y gold. But he sent me Z item which is no where near X item quality or worth.
And they already HAVE a system for trading from one player to another. It’s called the Trading Post. The taxes on it are a gold sink to remove gold from the economy to try to keep inflation going as slow as they possibly can.
Use mail at your own risk. There are scammers out there. Do not give people more than you are willing to give away because you might not get what you were promised in return.

Cool, I’ve never thought about that in this way.
Best regards
one other thing against the mail system, You can send 2 mails and then You need to take a brake because of “spamming” with mails.
Another thing against the mail system, you can’t inspect what they’re giving you before you give yours (or vice versa), which increases the ‘so and so scammed me’ argument since there is no way to decide against the trade. Once you send your item they can take it, even if you don’t want what they gave you.
Also, they don’t have a system of trading one for another. They have a system of buying what you want. But, like say you want to trade a legendary to someone for only 500g but want it to go to that specific person, if you put it on the auction house it’ll be gone before you can type out ‘its on the trading house’. Granted, if you’re giving a legendary for 500g you should really know the intended well enough to know you’ll get your gold. Just using it as an example.
