The update today (October 8th) has disabled camera smoothing for every player and not surprisingly it is already causing numerous complaints. This is unnecessary if you have a decent PC and without it the camera now feels jerky and unpleasant to play, it worked perfectly fine for myself without any issues before. It may suit some people, but it certainly won’t suit many. Surely it would make common sense to have camera smoothing as an option in the camera or graphics settings? Similarly one wouldn’t for instance force everyone to play with low quality textures just because people with low end machines get poor frame rates with high quality, of course not, there is an option to choose.

Agreed, i fully understand how people didn’t like how it was, but i do not like how it is now at all and i much prefer how it was.

So i gotta say Anet, if your going to offer a change like this for people who didn’t like how it was, then at least give an option for those that did like how it was.

I don’t notice a difference. The makers of this game don’t like options tho, they seem to wanna dictate there ways onto everyone.

Totally agree with the op, this change has touched me much my moral, and I hope that ArenaNet realize that it is better to give this type of options.
