Why the lack of movement options? Give us the ability to click on the terrain to move our character there as many of us are used to being able to do in other games. People who don’t like this can just leave that option disabled and it won’t affect them at all.

I concur. having a look at a developers screenshot, they had this option. It would be a worthwhile decision

While I am tempted to like this idea, since I have played games with it, I don’t think it would be good for GW2.

The reason is due to the fight mechanics. Strafing facing the mob while attacking is so important in this game. I was forced to learn how to do it well because I couldn’t click to move.

I don’t think there would be a good way to Circle strafe with click to move. That is probably why they took it out.

They don’t want to add click to move because it would un-level the playing field too. They want to keep everybody at a similar setup, hence no addons, very little UI customization, etc.

I know several people who want this back so I’ll suport it though i personally dont mind the current system .
